Gobi Heat® is proudly named after the vast Gobi Desert straddling both Mongolia and China. With temperatures ranging from 122ºF in the summer to as low as -27ºF in the winter, the Gobi desert serves to remind us of the importance of being prepared for anything and everything that comes our way. Much like its namesake, Gobi Heat® strives for ongoing growth and evolution.

Gobi Heat® founder Jaye Genung believed that being cold was hardwired into her DNA: “My eyes are blue, and I’m always cold.” As a woman who was constantly cold, shying away from outdoor winter activities became a regular occurrence. After trying other brands of heated clothing available at the time, she knew that both the design and the performance could be greatly improved upon.
