What does everything weigh?

This is our most common question! The empty vest, including the piping and pump, weighs 1 lb 12 oz. The 6 oz battery pack fits comfortably in the pouch at the back of the vest. We recommend adding one 16 oz frozen ice core (1 lb) and 16 oz of cool water to the reservoir for optimal circulation.

How does this work?

One Ice pack with a special anti-thawing, non-toxic gel is added to the vest reservoir which then gets filled with cool water. This creates a fully enclosed system that routes the water flow around the front and back of the vest along the lines (shown in blue on the product image, but not visible on the actual vest).

Turning the vest on starts the pump system. As the cooled water comes near your body, it wicks heat away from you and re-cools it as it passes the ice pack in the reservoir. The BPA-free polyethylene (PE) reservoir assists in maintaining a cooler temperature to optimize the time that the ice pack stays cool. Simply replace the ice packs as needed by keeping them in the freezer, ready to swap.

The 10,000 mAh battery is in a self-enclosed water resistant pouch to help to protect it.

Locate the connector

Connector is inside the back zippered pocket. Plug the connector into the USB-A connection on the battery. Place the battery inside the pocket, on the back of the vest, then zip the pocket closed.

Power on

Press the power button until it turns red. Cools up to 12 hours on one charge on Regular Mode.
Want to stay cooler longer? Try Eco Mode. Power off the vest and then Press and hold the power button for 3-5 seconds until it turns blue.

Do I have to use the Ice Cores?

No! You can use any of these three cooling options: ice core and water, ice cubes and water, or cold water alone.

Can I use this for sleep?

While the vest is safe to sleep in, some users have found that it's not very comfortable for this purpose.

Are the Ice Cores non-toxic?

Yes! They are safe and non-toxic, but not recommended for ingestion. Accidental ingestion of product may require medical attention, do not induce vomiting. See product insert/directions for MSDS information.

Is the Breeze Unisex Cooling Vest water resistant?

Yes the Breeze vest is made with water-resistant polyester.

After-Use Care Instructions for Your Breeze Unisex Cooling Vest

To ensure your Breeze Unisex Cooling Vest stays in top condition and performs at its best, follow these simple after-use care steps. After each use, empty any remaining water from the reservoir. Then, hang the vest using the built-in hook with the cap off and allow it to air dry completely—this helps prevent moisture buildup and reduces the risk of mold or mildew. Finally, remove the ice core from the vest and place it, along with any additional cores used, back into the freezer so they’re ready for your next wear.

How do I clean my Breeze Unisex Cooling Vest

Not machine washable. Wipe clean with a damp cloth or hand wash with components removed. Air dry only.

Battery Care

To keep your battery in optimal condition, fully charge and discharge it every 3 to 6 months. Only use Gobi Heat batteries with your product to ensure safe and reliable performance. If the battery becomes damaged, dropped, tampered with, or otherwise compromised, discontinue use immediately. When traveling, always pack the battery in your carry-on luggage rather than checked baggage. And when it's time to dispose of the battery, do not throw it in the trash—please use proper recycling methods.

How do I wash my Breeze Unisex Cooling Vest?

If your vest gets a little dusty, simply wipe it down with a damp cloth. For a deeper clean when needed, start by locating both the pump and the battery inside the back zipper pocket. Disconnect the tubes and the electrical connection from the pump, then disconnect the battery. Set both the pump and battery aside before cleaning. Hand wash the vest gently and allow it to air dry completely. Once dry, reconnect the pump and battery before your next use. While the vest is built for adventure, it should never go in the washing machine—machine washing may damage the tubing, pump fixtures, and weather-resistant fabric coating.
